A shank of steel, opening flesh and slides through to the other side.� Either someone is having a sword fight, or there is some play piercing going on!� The erotic appeal of piercing is undeniable.� History has shown that cultures from around the world have all done some form of piercing, and it has quite often been for an erotic reason.� The original Kama Sutra makes mention of various piercings, and their erotic effects.� But for some, it is not the end result of the piercing that does it for them, but the process itself.

Elwood will be presenting a workshop on the skills involved with play piercing.� Some of the topics that will be covered include health and safety, cross contamination, creating a sterile field, safe disposal of biohazardous wastes, and relative anatomy and sensation.� He will also be teaching techniques and placement to lessen or, for most, to heighten the sensation of the piercings.

Elwood will also be going over how to take play piercing into some extreme areas, including needle bondage, bondage using needles� as tie points, joint manipulation, pressure points and needles, and how to be an evil bastard with pointy objects.

About Elwood:

Elwood is a professionally trained and certified body piercer and body brander, scarification and suspension artist and photographer. He was trained in San Francisco, California by Fakir Musafar, (the father of the Modern Primitive and the man credited with bringing body piercing to the western world).

As an educator and body modification practitioner, Elwood is known for his humorous personality while educating audiences on a variety of classes and workshops. He is acknowledged for his vast knowledge of the history of body modification and practical safety.
